I am excited to share a project that is very close to my heart. For a few years, I’ve been tossing around the idea of making a film centered around my time in the wilderness. Over the last several months, my friend and collaborator Andrew Rurik and I devoted our time to making it happen. This film provides a unique glimpse into what my time looks like as a wildlife photographer. Working on this project prompted me to think long and hard about the passion that drives me to do what I do. In many ways, those reflections shaped the nature of this film. I think we all have experiences that make us come alive. That when you’re in the the moment, all else fades and you entire being is enveloped in the present. These are mine.
